The University of Louisville invites applications for Postdoctoral Associate in the School of Medicine, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology.The primary purpose of this position is to study the molecular mechanisms underlying ethanol-induced abnormalities at early stages of embryogenesis.
The laboratory uses a combination of state-of-the-art approaches which are integrated with cell and whole embryo culture systems, as well as in vivo mouse and zebrafish models of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying ethanol-induced birth defects. Self-motivated, productive Ph.D. with a strong background in molecular biology and cell biology are strongly encouraged to apply.
