III. Payment and Job Description
(一)年薪制教师
i. Applicants for Yearly-based Contracts:
海外著名大学毕业,中国国籍,全职到岗工作的优秀博士。
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Holder of a doctoral degree from a prestigious university outside China
*Citizen of People’s Republic of China
* Able to work full time
1. 基本薪酬:
a. Remuneration Package:
年薪35-50万(税前),一次性科研启动金10万,一次性住房补贴20万(税前)
* Annual salary: RMB 350,000- 500,000 (pre-tax);
* One-off housing allowance: RMB 200,000 (pre-tax);
* One-off research funding support: RMB 100,000.
2. 基本工作任务:(聘期6年内)
b. Performance Requirements: (within 6 years)
During the 6-year appointment, the following is required:
(1)科研任务:以第一作者或通讯作者名义,在A类国际期刊发表论文1篇;以课题负责人的名义申请到1项国家社会科学基金项目或国家自然科学基金项目。
Research:
1) Publications: The applicant should be able to publish at least one research article in an A-level international journal as the first author or corresponding author.
2) Research grant: The applicant should be able to obtain at least one research grant funded by National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences (NPOPSS) or National Natural Science Foundation of China (NNSFC) as the leading researcher.
(2)教学任务:每学年完成4学分的教学工作量,可聘期内平均。
Teaching:
The applicant is required to undertake an annual teaching load of 4 four credits, or a total of 24 credits in six-year employment term.
(3)社会服务:协助学校、学院进行教学、科研、学科建设、人才培养方面的服务工作,加强受聘者母校与学校的全面合作。
Academic Community Services:
The applicant is expected to work closely with the university and the school to provide a range of services in teaching and research, developing curriculum, mentoring young scholars, and fostering collaboration between UIBE and the university from which s/he graduated.
以上为年薪制教师工作任务最低要求,各学院可根据实际情况在此基础之上提高对年薪制的要求。
Note: The items outlined above constitute the minimum requirements for employees in the annual salary system. Each school may modify or have higher requirements according to specific situations.
(二)长聘海外教师
ii. Non-Chinese Applicants for Long-term Employment
A类:海外著名大学毕业,非中国籍,教学水平高,全职到岗工作的优秀博士。
Category A:
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Holder of a doctoral degree from a prestigious university outside China
* Non- People’s Republic of China nationality
* Able to work full time
* Demonstration of teaching excellence
1、基本薪酬:
a. Remuneration Package
年薪20-40万(税前),一次性住房补贴:10万(税前),一次性科研启动金:5万
* Annual salary: RMB 200,000- 400,000 (pre-tax);
* One-off housing allowance: RMB 100,000 (pre-tax);
* One-off research funding support: RMB 50,000.
2、基本工作任务:(聘期3年内)
b. Performance Requirements: (within 3 years)
(1)教学任务:每学期完成2-3门特色课程的教学任务。
Teaching:
Design and offer 2-3 courses in a specialized discipline per term.
(2)科研任务:根据学院要求完成适当的科研工作任务。
Research:
Fulfil research duties as required by the school that s/he works with.
(3)社会服务:聘期内,积极承担学校、学院安排的国际化工程建设,包括但不限于国际合作及学术交流等。
Academic Community Services:
Work closely with the university and the school on academic internationalization of UIBE, including but not limited to fostering international collaboration and academic communications.
B类:海外著名大学毕业,非中国籍,具有较强的教学和科研能力,全职到岗工作的优秀博士。基本薪酬和基本工作任务同年薪制教师。
Category B:
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Holder of a doctoral degree from a prestigious university outside China
* Non- People’s Republic of China nationality
* Able to work full time
* Demonstration of teaching and research excellence
Basic salary and duties are similar to that for yearly-based contracts.
